Asymmetric label boss Inigo Kennedy returns to his celebrated imprint with ‘Abacus Frames’, a brand new EP featuring five previously unreleased tracks from the esteemed producer’s music vault.

The already highly anticipated release follows on from the widely praised ‘Eyes Closed in The Sun’ LP which Kennedy dropped in early September. ‘Abacus Frames’ continues to shine a light on the renewed energy of Asymmetric, which has shone through since its rebirth this summer. The label, a haven to Kennedy’s most personal releases, and this latest offering remains true to this legacy, delving deep into the most mysterious recesses of his mind.

The artwork is based on an original piece by Shani Kennedy.

A truly remarkable album! I'd like to add that this is one of very few albums that I think truly sound better on vinyl, as it only enhances the intended experience. Every little bit seeps with atmosphere, like watching a dystopian, heavily grainy, space movie with ships surveying distant planets. That goes for the artwork as well, to which I'm sure everyone can agree, is the perfect marriage of both sound and visualization. Here's to hoping there'll be a 2846! Trisska
